Love it or hate it, Windows 8 is here, with radical changes specially to its UI and well, it’s here to stay. Microsoft has put in a lot of effort into this redefinition of the way people interact with technology and as touted, this is perhaps the most ‘changed’ version of Windows since Windows 95. This also makes it the most riskier Windows ever, but the results and reviews coming in are more than encouraging. Although the new interface takes some getting used to, it’s charming in its own way.
According to Microsoft , pre-release testing of Windows took place across more than 190 countries and it took a whopping 1,200,000,000 hours. Yup, 1.2 billions hours. Hopefully, these 1.2 billion hours would translate into success as Windows 8 aims to redefine what a PC is.
