Are you all ready to be amazed with this peculiar masterpiece of engineering? With its 2014 F-Type, Jaguar has returned to the sports car market once again. Since the fabulous E-Type, this is first proper two-seater sports car of Jaguar. The Jaguar’s F-Type does not carry any resemblance to its preceding magnificent sports car, the E-Type, which stunned the automotive world back in 1961.
In September 2013, lots of cars will be displayed in Frankfurt Auto Show which is an esteemed auto show. Surely, most of the cars have not been publicized so far and are still a concept. The 2014 Jaguar F-Type has been confirmed to be debuted in this auto show.
Since the Jaguar XJ220, the F-Type is the most driver-focused Jaguar. It will be launched in three different models—the standard car with a 340hp and 3.0-liter supercharged V-6 engine, the S model with the same supercharged V-6 modified to 380hp and the V-8 S with a 5.0-liter supercharged V-8 engine generating 495hp. The powertrains are in step with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The F-type R and RS models are expected to come in the future.
The 2014 F-Type’s features consist of Intelligent Stop/Start, sport suspension, Jaguar Smart Key with keyless start, automatic Bi-Xenon HID headlights with dynamic leveling, leather and Suede cloth seating surfaces, 380-watt Meridian audio system, and eight-inch touch-screen. The additional performance features such as Adaptive Dynamics (variable damping), limited slip or electronic active rear differentials, active sport exhaust, increased wheel sizes and higher performance braking systems are also present in F-Type Jaguar.
The top model is a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 S which gets its power enhanced up to 380PS and is capable of 0-60mph (97km/h) run in only 4.2 seconds. The 2014 Jaguar F-Type V8 S has the maximum speed of 186mph (300km/h). The 2014 F-Type Jag starts at $69,000 for the standard model and ranges up to $92,000 for the V-8 S model.
