The Fidget Cube Is The Gadget For Your Restless Fingers

Well, you will be amazed to know that most of us just love to fidget, whether it’s flipping paper clips, clicking pens or merely playing with our fingers. Although it is not among the most productive habit, but now there is a new toy known as the Fidget Cube which can help us fidget with some panache.

In order to change the perception of fidgeting in our society, two brothers Matthew and Mark McLachlan came up with this Fidget Cube, a pocket-size desk toy. They wrote on their product’s Kickstarter page:

“It’s not uncommon to hear fidgeting being spoken about negatively. It’s often labelled as unprofessional and deemed as anti-intellectual behaviour. But in reality, the exact opposite has been suggested to be the case. We believe that the way we look at fidgeting needs to change. This behaviour isn’t one that should continue to be stigmatized and mocked as unbecoming or inappropriate. We are passionate about the idea that fidgeting is a process that, with the right tools and outlet, can have positive and real-life applications.”

The Fidget Cube is a simple small vinyl cube capable of satisfying all your fidgety requirements. This little device covers every aspect of fidgeting including clicking, spinning, gliding and flipping. It has eight sides, each of them featuring a different toy to keep your fingers busy such as clickable buttons, a little controller-like joystick, rolling dials and metal ball, a flipping switch, a spinning dial and even a rubbing surface inspired by traditional worry stones. Therefore, we can say that the Fidget Cube copes with all your fidgeting needs.

A Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for the Fidget Cube is being run by the brothers at present and you will be stunned to know that they have crossed their goal of $15,000 in little over a week and has reached a gigantic $1.8 million in pledges. The campaign still has 40 days to go, so they’re probably going to have multiple millions available to boost their creation.

The Fidget Cube can be pre-ordered on Kickstarter by pledging $19, or you can snatch an extra for your best friend, with a $35 pledge. The products are scheduled for delivery anywhere in the world, in December 2016.
