We have come across a new device that just might reinvent how we wash clothes. We all buy tons of detergent, fabric softener, and bleach to help with our laundry but with Crystal Wash 2.0 we won’t need any of that anymore.
Crystal Wash is an amazing and an effective way ot do your laundry without using any detergents, chemicals or perfumes. The system uses Bio Ceramics, a power from the earth that was developed using various minerals with antibacterial and anti-oxidant properties. It raises the pH level of water in the washing machine to 8.5 +; which makes the water molecules shrink to a size that lets the dirt particles, stains and soils to be soaked free in a natural way. The Bio Ceramics also create Hydrogen Peroxide which acts as a natural disinfectant and deodorant for your clothes. The Crystal Wash system not only saves you money on detergents, it allows you to go green with every wash.
The Bio Ceramics collect dirt from the laundry and therefore, need to be recharged every 30 days (or about every 30 loads) so they maintain their effectiveness. All you need to do the recharge them is to expose them to natural sunlight for a few hours. The Crystal Wash team would like have an app to keep you informed about the quality of your washes and about when the bio ceramics need a recharge. By embedding a state-of-the-art pH water sensing chip and a microcontroller with Bluetooth capability inside the current Crystal Wash, they can give users accurate recharge alerts so that they don’t have to remember when it’s time to put them in the sun. The Crystal Wash 2.0 will also give wash cycle tracking stats, and wash complete alerts.
“It’s a fun project and we’re all very excited about, but in order to being the concept design to reality, we need to hire additional engineering help, solidify the design layout and source final manufacturing vendors.” The Crystal Wash original retails for $49.99 and can handle 1,000 loads of laundry – now the new Crystal Wash 2.0, the “connected” version, will make it easier than ever to use by supplying you with tools and features to help you do laundry better. The final product will retail for $59.99 and an estimated shipping date is in September 2015.
