Check out the Aston Martin Vulcan if you are a billionaire in search of a new supercar to add to your garage. Aston Martin is calling this track-only supercar their “most intense and exhilarating creation to date.” On a similar base to AM’s GT3 race car, a “V12 7.0 Liter engine” is featured by this supercar which has been industrialised in conjunction with Aston Martin Racing.
The engine has been positioned right behind the front axle, similar to several other supercars, which assists in improved handling and better center of gravity. The 600E gearbox “houses a straight-cut gearset with drop gears to the crown wheel and pinion and, at 200+ mph, is geared for a higher top speed” than AM’s other GT race cars.
As Aston Martin stated:
“The Aston Martin Vulcan is a unique and exclusive creation, designed and engineered using deep and broad motorsport experience and renowned road car expertise. Drawing on a rich heritage, this car tailors its power and handling to both the capabilities of the driver and the characteristics of the track. Here are the key team members responsible for bringing the thrilling Aston Martin Vulcan to life.”
Have a look at the video below from Aston Martin giving a first person POV of Le Mans from the driver’s seat of the Vulcan in case you are inquisitive about the amount of power this car can put out on the track.
You need to contact Aston Martin yourself if you are thinking of purchasing the Vulcan. Even though, the car is a track-only supercar, anyone with enough money may perhaps get their hands on it.
