Bridget Beth Collins, an artist based in Ravenna, Seattle, uses bits a pieces of nature to create beautiful collages that form gorgeous scenes. She has a knack for choosing what plants and flowers will work for her art, and she transforms petals and leaves into birds, fish, and even human faces.
Collins’ inspiration is nature. She says ideas for new pictures usually come to her as she’s going about her day. “I go for a walk in my neighbourhood or bring a bouquet home from the market and I see a whale’s tail in a shamrock leaf, or a snake’s scales in the sedum,” she says.
Collins’ love of nature came at a young age, during her backpacking trips through the mountain meadow.
She created these beautiful murals using her vivid imagination and a sharp eye for gathering the right materials.
